D'Alton Kingswell's database is continually updated and we value every existing and new candidate on it. All submissions will receive an early response to qualify the next role best suited to each new applicant.
As CV’s are received is a wide variety of formats, please note that the CV’s which get the better client responses, skill for skill, are preferably two or a maximum of three pages long, professionally presented and start with your name and personal details at the top. Then follows a concise profile which, in 5 or 6 lines and without jargon, enables the reader to clearly comprehend what professional profile the candidate represents. This is then best followed by a structured listing of companies worked for, with dates and gaps explained, citing each company’s market sector, the candidates role and a concise bulleted list of achievements, commencing with action words like developed, managed, delivered, led, designed, implemented, achieved, etc. Then finishing with interests and referees (contacted only with the candidate's express permission), the CV should transmit confidence backed by substance.
A CV is an historic document so a covering note outlining the next desired position helps us greatly in determining the optimum role for which to consider the candidate.
